management, maintenance and control of the meteorological instruments for measurements and observations as well as related technical support

exploration of the opportunities to open, relocate and/or transform meteorological stations, mounting tools and instruments for  measurements and observations, education of new meteorological and agrometeorological observers

assessment on the current status of the NIMH-BAS meteorological network and suggestions of measures and strategies for its development, improvement and optimization

implementation of specific meteorological experiments, measurements and observations across the country

responsibilities for collection, control and homogenization of the data from the  NIMH-BAS meteorological network according to the respective WMO methodologies and requirements
