Selective installation

Collector:
  • Brutto collector area - 8,4 m2;
  • Netto absorber area - 7,7 m2;
  • TINOX strip-absorber: selective sputter technology (absorption factor - 0,95 emissions factor – 0,05)
Storage tank (AE):
  • 500 liter with integrated spiral heat exchanger;
  • 2 fold emailed;
  • 7 cm PU foam insulating fixed to the tank;
  • integrated electronic regulation;
Selective installation

Monthly results:

Typically winter month:
Although during cold wintertimes the collector is converting solar irradiation. Depending on the weather situation HW temperatures are possible up to 48° at clear sunny days. In average HW temperature during January has been 30.5° at the Sofia installation.

Typically summer month:
The solar installation provides HW temperatures of 66° in average during summer months, maximum temperatures up to 80° resulting from the anti – stagnation program of the electronic regulation during days with high solar irradiation and low HW consumption at the same time.

Daily results:
Increasing water temperature in the storage tank during spring sunny day

Detailled measurement program showing the possible increase of HW temperature during one day for a typical sunny springtimes day in Sofia. The working process starts at 10.30 a.m. when absorber's temperature raised up to a temperature with a dT of 3°K higher than the temperature of the boiler down. And it stopped at 19 p.m. with the sunset. HW temperature TB-up was increased from 27° up to 47°C whilst we had a consumption of 700 l hot water during this day.
